My name is Chris Platts and I am a fully trained professional celebrant. I am married to my wife, Rebecca, and have two amazing sons, Edward and George.

I completed my training at The International College of Professional Celebrants (ICPC). Joining a community of celebrants from across the UK and beyond.

Prior to becoming a professional celebrant, I served in the Royal Air Force (RAF) for over 14 years. Serving across the UK, Europe and Middle East in a variety of HR and administration roles. With my last role being part of the unit welfare team. Support and guiding serving personnel and their families with all their needs.

Becoming a celebrant has allowed me to continue my passion for assisting and guiding people through life. Be it the love and happiness of a wedding ceremony, or showing empathy and support when you have lost a loved one.

During my time in the RAF I lived by a set of core values that I still hold to this day.

Respect – Valuing what the family wants for each service to make sure that I am able to deliver the best that I can.

Integrity – Being completely honest and open as to what is possible for your service. Which being a celebrant led ceremony the sky’s the limit!

Service – It is my privilege to serve your needs. Every service I conduct is about creating an event that shows the love you have for your child, one another,
or someone you have lost.
